NHN TRAILS

ONE OF CAPE BRETON’S “BEST-KEPT SECRETS”

NHN Trails are maintained with a 2004 PB 100 PISTON BULLEY GROOMER!

Groomer maintenance is very important to ski facilities. Our grooming tractor needed major repairs at the end of March 2021 and again last April 2022.

We are so grateful to Willard Murphy, Kevin Dauphinee, John Doyle and Jeffery Gwynn of Gwynn’s Trucking for the incredible team effort they have put into NHN’s coveted 2004 PB 100 Piston Bully grooming tractor; sourcing & ordering parts, traveling to pick up parts & supplies, hours of work on disassembling, moving, cleaning, repairing and reassembling all the moving parts including a NEW front axel, new belt and bolts for the tracks. NHN has been waiting for this day!!! Now we just need our snow.

The trails are groomed to a width of 16 feet for snowshoeing, classic and skate skiing.

A piece of NHN history! In this photo is NHN’s 1st groomer  with the PB 100 in 2003.
