Spring Is In The Air At NHN!

Spring is in the air and this means the North Highlands Nordic season is almost over!
Looking back at the last three months, lots has happened.
Starting with the arrival of the new groomer which provides professionally groomed trails for locals and visitors alike. It’s no wonder visitors always leave with a memorable experience!
Another important change at NHN this year has been our NHN Cafe!
Open every Saturday for breakfast for all visitors, members and the public at large, for dinning in and take out! The cafe also opened all week on March Break! So popular that they sold out!
Stay tuned for next season’s line up!
An add on for 2025 were our Photo Booth / Selfie Stations. Made with love by our Volunteer Extraordinaire, Maurice Curtis. Everyone seems to be looking for a Souvenir Photo of their visit and several people tagged us on their post, landing them a spot on our stories or main FB page.
If you have a suggestion for next season, please message us at nhn@xcski.ca.
NHN would not be the same without all of it’s volunteers! NHN is a “not for profit” organization! We are blessed with volunteers in the kitchen, trail technicians, trail maintenance group, special events staff and organizers, accountants, basic repairs for the groomer and the buildings, the board of directors etc!
If you come across them please let them know they are appreciated.
In closing, although we can’t all be volunteers, i would like to thank each and everyone that contributes to our fundraising through buying memberships, day passes, lunches and breakfasts, donations in kind, monetary or time or those who simply share our posts or refer us to friends and family. You all help keeping North Highlands Nordic be the best it can be!!

Happy Trails to You!
