Thank you for supporting the North Highlands Nordic Building Campaign. We have been making amazing progress with our building project, thanks to continued community support.
Project Status
• Work completed:
◦ Land donated By Murdock and Voilet MacLeod
◦ New access trail completed
◦ Building site cleared
• Goals for Winter 2021
◦ Construction of groomer/storage/office area

Charitable Donations
North Highlands Nordic has partnered with Nordiq Canada to offer income tax receipts for your donation to our Building Fund. NHN has the potential to double (and possibly triple) your investment through grant applications and your donation stays in the area. Please spread the word.
Volunteer Support
NHN has the money to cover costs of materials. Volunteer labour is needed to build it. We value any form of volunteer labour, but especially appreciate those who can contribute construction related skills to the protect. If interested, please let us know by the end of August:

NORTH HIGHLANDS NORDIC TRAILS ARE MAINTAINED WITH A 2004 PB 100 PISTON BULLEY GROOMER. THE TRAILS ARE GROOMED TO A WIDTH OF 16 FEET FOR BOTH CLASSIC CROSS COUNTRY AND SKATE SKIING AND ALSO FOR SNOWSHOEING.
